Africa Liberty Camp 2024
The 9th Africa Liberty Camp, themed “Inspiring Freedom, Innovation & Creativity,” took place from 13th to 15th June 2024 at Nile Nest, Jinja. Organized by Uganda’s leading think tanks— Action for Liberty and Economic Development (ALED), Mtindo Network Development Initiative, and Action for Development Initiative (AFODI).
the camp brought together 80 university students, youth leaders, and entrepreneurs from across Africa alongside global guest speakers.
Over three days, participants engaged in discussions on free markets, leadership, and entrepreneurship, with highlights including:
- Key Topics: Individual Liberty, Free Market Principles, Sustainability, and Innovation.
- Female-Led Panel: “Embracing Authenticity, Creativity, and Innovation,” with inspiring stories from women entrepreneurs.
- Breakout Sessions: Exploring libertarianism’s core values, such as individualism, free markets, rule of law, and limited government.
