An Introduction to Trade and Globalization Book

An introduction to Trade & Globalization is an entrepreneurship book that examines the tensions that inevitably arise alongside the many benefits of trade. Author Eamon Butler looks at the rapid growth of international trade over the past 50 years, and how commerce and international politics have become increasingly connected. He describes the fundamental and growing importance of trade and globalization in modern life – whilst also seeking to understand the opposition to it.

And, at the same time, he skillfully provides a straightforward, insightful and essential introduction to the principles, economics, and politics of international trade – one of the key developments of the modern era.

With support from the author and partnership with Initiative for African Trade and prosperity(IATP), we have been able to so far mobilize and distribute over 800 copies of the book to young entrepreneurs and students in Uganda between the age of 18 -40 years.
